The Penken lift is only approx. 400 m away and the ski bus stops directly in front of the building. Access to the cross-country trails is possible from behind the accommodation and the Zillertalbahn train station is right next to the building.

The Tyrolean country house comprises a main building, and a 50 m distant side building. The main building has a modern entrance area with reception, in-house restaurant which has been accredited with the title "Tiroler Wirtshaus" (Tyrolean Inn) and "Bewusst Tirol" (Tyrol conscious), a breakfast room, a cosy hotel bar, Wi-Fi, Internet corner, ski room with ski boot driers and sun terrace. Parking spaces can be used free of charge, and depending on availability.

Furthermore, you are welcome to use the sauna area (open daily 16:00 - 19:00, except Saturdays) with Finnish sauna or steam bath (depending on preference), jacuzzi and infrared cabin (incl.), as well as a solarium (payable locally). Twice per week, the hotel offers live music.

As a special extra, every booking made until 31/10/2021 receives a bottle of house wine per room, at a value of €25 (no cash out possible, only for bookings from 7 nights).

Travel Info/Map

How does one best travel to Austria? Airports include Salzburg, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, and Linz. Depending on your destination, Munich or Friedrichshafen (in Germany) or Zurich (in Switzerland) are also good options. In Austria, you will rarely find a train station in the resort. The distances from the different train stations and airports to the resorts are shown above the map. Those travelling by car will find a link to a route planner in the lower lefthand corner of the map. Simply enter your origin location and a route will be calculated for you. Please note, that it is wise to be informed about the closure of mountain passes during the winter months! Please also take into consideration that your car is required to be equipped for winter conditions, and that you will need snow chains with you.

  • By train: Mayrhofen (in resort), Jenbach (approx. 35 km)
  • By plane: Innsbruck (approx. 75 km), Salzburg (approx. 150 km), Munich (approx. 185 km)
