Ski area Les Menuires - St. Martin

The lift pass "Les Menuires/St. Martin" enables use of the 160 kilometres of piste and 33 lifts around Les Menuires and Saint Martin. The ski area is multifaceted and has variety for beginners as well as the advanced. There are some deep snow slopes waiting for their fans. The panoramic view is worth the visit, as the ski area comprises some peaks close to 3,000 m altitude, e.g. the Le Mont de la Chambre (2,850 m) or the Le Roc des 3 Marches (2,704 m).

A few quite challenging runs can be found at the Point de la Masse (2,804 m) with e.g. the "Dame Blanche", but ski enthusiasts will also find enjoyment on the valley run to St. Martin. Since winter 2015/16. going down from the mountain station to the valley is possible for all abilities as the new blue piste "La Bouquetin" is available to use. The 12 km long Cime de Caron is the longest slope in the Les 3 Vallées and is located in Les Menuires.

Boarders will find first-class conditions in Les Menuires. Between the districts La Croisette and Les Bruyères there is a half-pipe, quarters and pyramids. A boardercross run is to be found at Le Becca. And the little ones will find ideal conditions to learn skiing in the children's clubs Piou Piou in La Croisette and Les Bruyères.

Since the 2018/2019 winter season, the ski area has offered some new features. On December 8th, for example, the "Les Menuires 24 Hours" took place as a welcome event, with all sorts of festive activities for all ages and skill levels for a 24 hour period. In addition, moonlight trips with the snow groomer as well as a torch-lit hike for children older than 3 are possible, and the "Snow Arena" maze were opened. Touring skiers will also be pleased, as a few new and exciting tracks are also appeared. Furthermore, the ski area is equipped with cameras, ready to film your runs down different slopes, an opportunity available in, for example, the new Pixel Area in the Snowpark. If you'd like to take a selfie of everyone on the ski lift, this can be done without any effort on the Saint Martin Express chair lift - on this lift you'll be photographed on your way up and can therefore let your creativity run free. On top of that, the efficiency of the lift systems has been improved through investments of around 9.5 million euros and, as a result, the lifts use less energy and trips take less time.

Night skiing Les Menuires

Night skiing in France is a special experience. Especially the 3 Vallées with their huge varietey of pistes offer everything a winter sports enthusiast's heart desires. Of course you can also go night skiing here. If you spend your ski holidays in the 3 Vallées, you can use the pistes after sunset in Courchevel, where the 8-person gondola "Verdons" extends its opening hours every Wednesday evening. The family park as well as the "Verdons" piste are illuminated by floodlight, and in family park, night skiing is even accompanied by music. Food and drink can be had in the restaurant "Les Verdons" even after the lifts close.

Après ski Les Menuires

In Les Menuires there is good selection of restaurants and bars that invite you in for some après ski or just for a pause. Some of these are located at attractive altitudes with wonderful panorama views. Overall, the offer of recreational activities off-piste is very large: from dog-sled rides to exciting heli-skiing and snowtubing, everything is possible here! In addition, the ski area also has two toboggan runs on offer, ensuring fun for the whole family.

The spa and fitness offers are also worth a try. The sports and spa centre covers an area of 4,500 m² and has a large selection to choose from. It's your choice: be it swimming, sauna, water gymnastics, fitness, tennis, squash or volleyball.

Snowpark: Pixel Area Snowpark Les Menuires

Les Menuires snow park is located directly at the "La Becca" chair lift at 2,500 m altitude. The "BK Park" is really something for the whole family. There module offers to fit every skill and need here.

The design of the park has been influences, as often before, by Ho5Park - and this stands for quality. Boardercross and freestyle zones of 2 difficulty levels can be found here. On the blue line there are 2 kickers and 4 rails (flat descent, rainbow, 2 boxes) and on the red line there are 1 kicker and 4 rails (S-shaped, flat descent, wave and C-shaped). On "The Toboggan" amateur boardercross run you can get a combination going of speed and freestyle fun, with a few woops and bumps. This year there is a new Pixel Area with rails, kicks and moguls for freestylers, obstacle course and skicross fans. Here you can show off your best tricks and even be filmed while doing them. The video will be sent to you via SMS directly after. If you need a break you can relax on the new panorama terrace and see the other riders put on a show.

If you can't get enough of freestyle action, you are definitively in the right place in the 3 Vallées. With its various parks you are sure to find some great alternatives and possibilities to run riot!
