Sellaronda

It is known as the most famous ski round tour worldwide, and is lovingly referred to as "the most beautiful roundabout in Italy": the Sellaronda - the round tour of the Sella massif, located in the heart of the Dolomites, on skis or with a snowboard. The whole tour takes a least 6 hours and can be done clockwise or counter-clockwise. The tour is marked with orange and green signposts.

Four valleys are crossed during the round trip: Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Arabba and Val di Fassa - passing through three provinces (South Tyrol, Trentino, Belluno). This concludes in 40 km of pistes in blue and red, which are not only reserved for pros. They however can extend on the number of runs they do, e.g. by adding the challenging "Porta Vescovo" piste in Arabba. Great access points for this round trip are Wolkenstein, Corvara, Arabba and Canazei.
