Location

The 4-star Landhotel Römerhof is situated just 50 metres from the centre of Dorfgastein. Access to the ski area is via the cable car, which is approximately 600 metres away. Cross-country skiing is available on the network of trails about 300 metres away. Ski buses stop right outside the hotel.

Facilities

The accommodation comprises a main building and an annex, which are approximately 30 metres apart. The lovingly furnished hotel features a reception, Wi-Fi, an internet corner, a lift, a breakfast room, an on-site restaurant, a cosy lounge, a hotel bar and a wine cellar. You also have the option to use the iPad in the reception area. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski cellar. On-site parking and a charging station for electric cars (subject to a fee) are available – subject to availability.

Spa

The approximately 350 m² spa area invites you to relax. Here you will also find a Finnish sauna, organic sauna, a hot tub, steam bath and infrared cabin. You can also relax in the relaxation room. Inside your accommodation there is an indoor pool with a counter-current system. The solarium and massages are available for a fee. Bathrobes are available on site (on loan).

Children

The children’s playroom offers age-appropriate entertainment for younger guests, even in bad weather. Cots are available for an additional charge; baby monitors and high chairs are included (on request/subject to availability).

Entertainment

The accommodation offers various sports facilities, such as a gym and table tennis.

Board

When booking rooms with the "Half-board PLUS" meal plan, meals include a generous, regional gourmet breakfast featuring sweet and savoury options, a variety of bread rolls, egg dishes and a welcome cocktail. Afternoon refreshments (15:00 – 17:00) include a snack. In the evening, you will be served a 4-course menu of your choice with a salad buffet, various gourmet menus or different themed evenings.

On Christmas Eve (24/12), a 5-course gala dinner is served, and on New Year’s Eve, a 6-course gala dinner with live music and a midnight snack.

Lactose-free, gluten-free and vegetarian alternatives are also available on request.

Important notes

• Meals are served in the main building.
• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• If you have booked equipment through us, the ski hire is located in Bad Gastein (approx. 15 km away).
• Accommodation may take place in both parts of the building.
• No lift pass vouchers are issued for children aged 5 or under (at time of departure); they can ski for free on the Dorfgastein-Großarltal ski area and the Rauchleiten platter lift when accompanied by their parents. If your child wishes to use the lifts independently, a mini card (lift pass) must be purchased on site.
