Location and facilities

The comfortable 4-star superior Hotel Eder - the Hochkönig Lifestyle Hotel is centrally located in the idyllic village centre, directly on the village square of Maria Alm. You can access the Hochkönig ski area about 100 m away. The extensive cross-country skiing area can also be reached after about 100 m. A free ski bus stops directly at the house.

The modern accommodation has a reception with lobby, lift, Wi-Fi, breakfast room, restaurant, bar and a ski room. Free hotel parking and a parking garage (upon availability) can be found about 400 m away.

There is also an approx. 500 m² spa area with Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, relaxation area, Kneipp facility (14:00 - 20:00), herbal sauna (11:00 - 20:00, also for children) as well as fitness room and a connected indoor and outdoor pool (07:30 - 20:00). Various massages are available for a fee (opening hours subject to change, see info on site). 1 x per room and stay you will receive a €10 voucher for spa treatments in the spa area.

The modern and typically furnished rooms have a bathtub or shower/wc, cable TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, safe, coffee maker, hair dryer and some have a seating area and/or balcony.

Board

The half-board included in the price comprises a rich regional breakfast buffet with organic corner and a 5-course menu including salad in the evening. A Christmas dinner and a New Year's Eve gala dinner with midnight snack and 1 x bottle of champagne per room are also included. Dietary food as well as gluten- and lactose-free and vegetarian meals are also available on request.

Important notes

  • Access to the sauna area is not permitted for children. Children can only access the herbal sauna.
  • Please note that the double rooms (Studio Eco) are the smallest rooms in the accommodation.
  • Children aged 5 or under (at time of departure) can use the lifts in Maria Alm free of charge. If your child uses the lifts in other Ski amadé ski areas independently, a minicard (lift pass) may have to be purchased on site.
  • Easter family promotion: 14/03/2026 – 06/04/2026. When booking for 6 or more days, children born in 2010 or later receive a free multi-day pass (official proof of family relationship required). The prerequisite is that at least one parent purchases a multi-day pass for 6 or more days for the same period. If there are more children than adults travelling or if the promotion requirements are not met, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site. Further information is available at the lift ticket office.
