Bregenzerwald
Between Lake Constance and the Arlberg, in the most western part of Austria, you can find the Bergenzerwald. The northern part is rather hilly, whilst towards the south the valley becomes narrow and the mountains become steeper. The Bergenzerwald is influenced strongly by its Swabian and Swiss neighbours and old traditions are still alive today. A good example of this is the "Cheese Street", an association of farmers, innkeepers, craftsmen and businesses, all combined in the traditional making of cheese. So don't forget to try the "Bergenzerwald Mountain Cheese". The region is however also popular for its snow security. Enjoy more than 506 km of piste and the lovely panoramic view of the Bergenzerwald!Travel Riefensberg
