Cross-country Silbertal
The Silbertal offers excellent conditions not only for the alpine skiing adventure. The picturesque valley is also a popular destination for cross-country skiing enthusiasts. The valley station of the Kristbergbahn is located in Silbertal and the access to the popular panoramic cross-country trail is at the mountain station. The route is prepared daily during the season and can be skied in classic style. Flat sections alternate with gentle climbs and descents. The route stretches over 9.3 km and overcomes around 180 metres in altitude. The breathtaking mountain world and the view of the majestic Lobspitz massif invite you to linger and enjoy at many different locations. Two waxing points and a heated changing room are available free of charge for winter sports enthusiasts at the mountain station of the Montafon Kristbergbahn.
The "Dorfloipe Silbertal" is also located in the popular valley. The trail runs through the village of Silbertal, past the beautiful parish church of St. Nicholas and continues through the valley floor of the popular Silbertal. The trail is 3.6 km long, overcomes 80 metres in altitude and, like the Panoramabahn, is prepared for the classic style. The access can be found at the Fesa car park. There are further accesses in the centre and at the valley station of the Kapellbahn. From the bridge in the centre to the open-air stage of the Montafon Festival of Legends, the cross-country ski trail is illuminated until late at night.
