Ski area Chamrousse
Ski area Chamrousse
With the lift pass "Chamrousse" you have access to 16 lifts with a total length of 90 km. The ski area (1,650 - 2,250 m) in "Massif de Belledonne" offers an exceptional view of the surrounding 4,000 m mountains and of the French loWi-Fids. Due to its geographical location at the western edge of the Alps, Chamrousse is considered a very snow-sure area. The Olympic area above Chamrousse 1650 is waiting for all sporty and ambitious skiers. As well as red and blue slopes, there are also blacks to be conquered.
Chamrousse 1750, on the other hand, offers a great selection of easy runs and the chance to ski through delightful deep powder snow. The two parts of the ski area are also perfectly connected to each other. The ski area of Chamrousse is generally suitable for the whole family. Especially the pistes in Roche Beranger are ideal for families with children. Due to its large snow park, Chamrousse has earned the name "Espace Freestyle". Also, a Kids Fun park can be found in Chamrousse. A further delight: Once a week in the French holidays in February the piste "Les Gaboreaux" to Chamrousse 1650 is lit up, allowing you to savour the lovely view of the lights of Grenoble whilst night-skiing.
If you are looking for other sporty activities apart from skiing, you have the choice between snow shoe hiking, paragliding and a ride on a snowmobile. An ice rink and 2 small toboggan runs are also available. Our holiday reps offer an attractive programme. e.g. a welcoming evening and a traditional fondue or racelette meal.

Après ski Chamrousse
In the afternoon the sun terraces at the lifts in Chamrousse 1750 and 1700 as well as as the lift's mountain station invite you to relax. If you're in the mood for a beer and some good music, head to "K-Dox" in Chamrousse 1700. Shopping fans will get their moneys' worth in the shopping centre and shops in Chamrousse 1650 and 1750. Snowpark: Chamrousse
In Chamrousse, there are many possibilities to let off steam while freestyling. The "Sunset Park" snow park lies on an altitude of approx. 1,900 m, is 500 m long and is located near the Station Chamrousse 1750. Beside 5 differently sized Kickers, several boxes, rails and further obstacles with different levels of difficulty wait to be conquered. The "Sunset Park" also offers a boarder cross or ski cross run as well as a chill zone where you can relax in between or after your rides. Situated below the "Sunset Park" is the Kids Funpark in which children and beginners can take their first steps in freestyling.Is the Chamrousse ski area not right for you?
