Ski area Tignes/Val d'Isère
The ski areas of Tignes and Val d’Isère each offer 150 km of varied slopes, linked together via the Bellevarde (2,827 m). From Tignes, you not only have a fantastic view of the mountain lake Lac du Chevril. The area also offers a fantastic playground for beginners who want to try their first turns at the Col du Palet and explore the green and blue runs above Tignes-Le Lac. Experienced skiers, on the other hand, will find their paradise in the Grande Motte glacier ski area, where fabulous views await at an altitude of 3,456 m. Secured and controlled deep-snow slopes in the Vallon de la Sache also make the ski area a paradise for freeriders and off-piste skiers. Here, you can cover a vertical drop of 1,198 m over a distance of 2.8 km. The Tignes Snowpark is a special experience, offering dedicated tables, slides and jumps for beginners, as well as thrills for advanced skiers and pros.
The Val d'Isère area also offers access to 150 kilometres of slopes, with many wide, easy runs on the Pissaillas Glacier plateau in particular. The ski resort therefore holds the "Famille Plus" quality mark, meaning the local runs are particularly family-friendly and there is a wide range of childcare facilities for young skiers. However, there are also a number of red runs and challenging ski routes, including those on the Solaise, where the valley run in particular is a real test. At the Pointe du Montet (3,428 m), the skiing pleasure on excellent snow conditions lasts particularly long, with good snow conditions persisting from June to September. The ski area’s excellent infrastructure also includes free Wi-Fi hotspots at several mountain and valley stations.
The Tignes and Val d’Isère areas are perfectly connected and promise pure skiing enjoyment!
Après ski Tignes/Val d'Isère
Skiing may be the top priority in Tignes, but après ski is certainly not neglected here either! A variety of bars, cosy restaurants and several discos take centre stage in Tignes. The "Grizzly's Bar" with its arctic atmosphere is a real "in" place.
For sporting activities, there is a natural ice rink in Le Lac. Afterwards, you can use the swimming pool at "Le Lagon". If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, you can go ice diving in the lake in Tignes. A special sporting highlight has also just opened: "Tignespace" is a modern indoor sports and conference centre with countless possibilities: Tennis courts, basketball, volleyball, handball, badminton and hockey courts, squash courts, a climbing wall, an athletics area - with 3,500 square metres of space for sporting activities alone, it leaves little to be desired.
Snowpark Tignes/Val d'Isère: Tignes - Val d'Isère snow park
With the "Tignes - Val d'Isère" lift pass, you have access to an extensive range of fun sports. Let's start with the "Val d'Isère Snowpark". The park is located at an altitude of 2,500 metres between Val d'Isère and Tignes, close to the "Mont Blanc" chair lift on the Bellevarde. There are three different lines here, one green, one red and one black, with rails, kickers and boxes to suit all requirements. There is also a boardercross course with funslope elements at the Marmottes lifts in Val d'Isère.
You can continue to the ski area of Tignes, which you can also reach with your lift pass. Here you have access to two different snow parks: the large "DC Park", located at an altitude of 2,400 m - 2,600 m, and the smaller "Gliss'Park", located directly in the resort. A wide variety of kickers and rails await you in the DC Park, with different levels of difficulty, inviting everyone to put their skills to the test. The park also includes a 1.2 km long boardercross. The smaller Gliss Park offers equally good practice opportunities for both beginners and advanced riders. Here you can ski various parcour courses, such as a boardercross, an obstacle course and a parallel slalom. Whether you are an amateur or a pro, there are plenty of obstacles and kickers for everyone.
