Ski holidays Halblech - a fairytale like winter paradise!

Halblech

The Allgäu village Halblech, located in the heart of Bavaria, is ideal for a relaxing holiday far away from the stress of everyday life. Just the view over the snow-covered, spacious mountains and valleys makes you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The view to the Zugspitze, the famous castle Neuschwanstein, the castle Hohenschwangau or the Wieskirche give the place a fairytale atmosphere. Halblech is in no way inferior to all winter sports activities. Skiers can use the family ski area and for cross-country skiers the village and its surroundings resemble a paradise. Because on more than 30 kilometres of groomed cross-country trails you can admire the white-powdered nature here. In Halblech you also have many other possibilities to take full advantage of the winter. Whether in the form of tobogganing on the natural toboggan run on the Buchenberg, skating on one of the lakes, snowshoeing, horse-drawn sleigh rides or even paragliding.

Allgäu

The Allgäu is part of the region Oberschwaben and stretches from the south-western part of Bavaria to the south-eastern part of Baden-Württemberg and partly along the borders of Austria. It is situated right between lower Alps and the Bavarian hill country. With an altitude of up to 2,657 m the Allgäu offers the Nebelhorn as the highest and most well-known mountain of this area. It is not for nothing that this is one of the most popular tourist areas and main winter sports regions within Germany. For Alpine skiers there is a large offer of well-prepared pistes - both for beginners, as well for more experienced winter sports fans. Many of the slopes can be covered with artificial snow and offer reliability for skiing until the end of March. After a day on the pistes you can meet up in the many huts, cafés and pubs or even spend the night in the local clubs.
