Świeradów-Zdrój (Bad Flinsberg)

Świeradów-Zdrój (german: Bad Flinsberg) is situated at the foot of the Izera Mountains, far away from mass tourism. The health resort is embedded cosily in between the mountains Wysoki Grzbiet and the Maienicki Grzibiet. The resort is known for its microclimate, the pleasant content of radon as well as its curative springs and moors. In the spa gardens you can drink Bad Flinsberg's "holy water" - curative spring water containing radon, because of which the resort it famous. The hotels in the resort offer corresponding health cures, which are a wonderful way to help you relax after a day on skis.

As an alternative to skiing, culture lovers can look forward to visiting various sights. Nearby the park in the resort centre you will find the spa house with its 45 m high tower. It also has to further parts of the building in which spa treatments are offered. The connection between the two buildings is very special: the promenade is an impressive wooden construction with high arches and floral wall painting. At a length of 80 m, it is the longest larch wood promenade in Lower Silesia. Concerts and formal dances take place here.
