Cross-country Italy

Bella Italia – this also applies to cross-country ski fans. Many ski areas offer a dense network of trails for cross-country skiers with levels from easy to expert.

Italy's Number 1 cross-country region is Alta Pusteria. The tracks here have a top status. The wide-spread cross-country trail network encompasses the popular ski resorts Sexten, Innichen or Toblach, and is a great place for beginners, for those who want to improve, and for professional training. The "Nordic Arena" in Toblach offers practice trails, several FIS-slopes and hosts important races such as e.g. the "Tour de Ski" world cup or the Alta Pusteria Ski Marathon.
Alta Pusteria is part of the "Dolomiti Nordicski" networt, Europe's largest cross-country carousel with more than 1,300 kilometres of track in 13 areas.
