Pejo 3000 Ski area
The Pejo 3000 ski resort is situated on the slopes of Monte Vioz. The access point is in the hamlet of Pejo Fonti, approximately 4 km from Cogolo di Pejo, and is easily accessible by ski bus. The slopes range from 1,400 m to 3,000 m and are served by seven lifts. Most of the 20 kilometres of slopes are of medium difficulty, whilst a few blue and black runs make the ski resort suitable for all ability levels. The "Pejo 3000" gondola lift, which carries 100 passengers, takes winter sports enthusiasts from the Tarlenta midway station to the highest point of the ski area. From here, a stunning panorama of the Ortler-Cevedale massif unfolds. Three mountain restaurants cater for visitors’ needs during the lunch break.
Around half of the slopes can be covered with artificial snow, including the red valley run. This is also the longest run in the ski resort, stretching over 8 km down to the valley station. In the lower section, it transitions into a blue run. From the top station of the 6-seater "Cabinovia" gondola lift, the black run No. 3 also leads down into the valley.
Families with children can enjoy themselves in the lovingly designed Kinderland right in Cogolo di Pejo. Here there is a T-bar lift serving the blue practice run "Biancaneve", which is approximately 500 metres long. Next to it is the "Biancaneve Snowpark", a large snow playground for children featuring a magic carpet lift, a carousel and a snow tubing run. Twice a week, the site is also open in the evenings from 20:00 to 22:00 and is lit by floodlights.
Pejo 3000 is the world’s first plastic-free ski resort. All single-use plastics have been removed from the ski resort’s shelters for several years now. Sustainability to protect the unique mountain landscape of the Stelvio National Park!

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy
To use the ski areas, you must have valid liability insurance that covers damage or injury to third parties. This can also be taken out on site for individual days. Skiing while intoxicated (0.5 per mille or higher BAC) is prohibited and is punishable by heavy fines. To reduce the risk of injury, wearing a helmet is compulsory for everyone (regardless of age, on all ski runs, in snow parks and on toboggan runs). Anyone who does not comply with the helmet requirement will be fined or banned from the slopes.
Night skiing Pejo 3000
As in neighbouring Alpine countries, the ski areas in Italy offer plenty of fun and entertainment on the piste. Of course, this also includes night skiing. Night skiing is also very popular in Trentino. In the Pejo 3000 ski area, the "Mezoli" piste, which is around 1 km long, is floodlit twice a week in the evening. It is located in the centre of the ski area at the Mezoli 2-seater chair lift. Right next to it, the Scoiattolo mountain restaurant offers refreshments. The Kinderland at the T-bar lift in Cogolo di Pejo is also open twice a week in the evening. All holders of a multi-day ski pass can use the night skiing facilities in Pejo free of charge.Après ski in Pejo 3000
In the family-friendly Pejo 3000 ski area, there is also plenty of après ski - albeit on a smaller scale. The Lo Scoiattolo ski hut in the centre of the slopes invites you to après ski in the open-air bar in the afternoon. A good atmosphere is the order of the day here and people like to dance on the wooden planks of the sun terrace.
Pejo is a cosy place to be after a day's skiing. Several shops invite you to stroll around and the restaurants serve delicious regional dishes. In Pejo Cogolo and also in Pejo Fonti, near the lift entrance, there are child-friendly ice skating rinks. A special treat for children is a ride in the "minicar", a miniature racing car, on a small ice track right next to the ice skating rink in Pejo Cogolo.
Those interested in the cultural heritage and history of the villages can visit the frescoed church, a castle ruin and the folklore museum in Pejo. Pejo is also known as a spa town thanks to its thermal springs. Several thermal baths and spas offer extensive cures and baths. The "Terme di Pejo" is one of the largest thermal baths in Pejo Fonti.
In addition, the Stelvio National Park offers almost unlimited opportunities to actively experience nature. Guided snowshoe or winter hikes are popular, for example. Five different Nordic walking trails have also been cleared in the Pejo Valley. The surrounding area can be easily explored on the "Dolomiti Express" electric train, which runs through the Val di Sole.

Snowpark Pejo 3000: Pejo Sunpark
The "Pejo Sunpark" is located at approx. 1,500 metres above sea level on the Saroden piste, a red descent on the Saroden chair lift. The park's 300 metre long lines offer everything a freestyler's heart desires: a 6 m flatbox, 6 m rainbow box, 6 m butter box, 6 m rail, 3 m and 4 m kinked box as well as jumps from 3 m to 8 m high. For children, there is a Kids Easy Park in the Dosso del Blanco area with a 3 m box and a mini kicker.
