Cross-country St. Moritz

Information on cross-country skiing

240 km Cross-country trails (in km):

The entire ski region around St. Moritz has a network of around 240 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails, offering cross-country skiers a winter sports paradise that meets all requirements. The longest cross-country trail is a real challenge, with 61 kilometres to conquer. It leads from Maloja via Zuoz and S-chanf to Zernez.

Also worthy of mention is probably the most famous cross-country trail in Switzerland: the 42-kilometre marathon route between Maloja and S-chanf. The Engadin Skimarathon, the major cross-country skiing event of the year, takes place on this route every year on the second Sunday in March, with several thousand cross-country skiers taking part!

The high altitude cross-country ski trails offer the most beautiful views. We recommend the medium-difficulty "Alp Bondo" cross-country trail, which ranges from 2,093 m to 2,200 m, is 8 km long and stretches from Maloja to S-chanf. The high altitude cross-country ski trails near Maloja and Silvaplana are also recommended. If you are still fit late at night, you can use one of the three floodlit cross-country trails, for example the 2 km long night trail near St. Moritz.

To use the cross-country trails, you need a Swiss cross-country ski pass.
