Ski area Corviglia
The "Corviglia" ski area (including Piz Nair and Marguns) is one of the most famous winter sports areas and is waiting to be explored by you with 155 varied kilometres of piste. If you get on your skis early, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panorama and freshly groomed pistes at sunrise on Piz Nair (3,057 m). The "White Carpet" piste in particular is a must!
The 2 km long Olympic downhill run is highly recommended for the experts among you. The high-speed piste no. 7 on Corviglia is a fast-paced experience. After crossing the finish line, your skiing time is shown on a large digital display. The "Audi Ski Run" on FIS piste no. 5 is new: here, speed skiers and families with children can not only have their best time measured, but also film their run so that they can watch it together later or share it on social networks. You have access to a free Wi-Fi hotspot at many mountain railway stations.
In the Suvretta area, on the other hand, the "ChillOut Riding Zone" awaits more relaxed skiers with the Paradiso piste - for all those who prefer to take it a little easier on the slopes. It is also the first yoga piste in the world, where "Yoga on Snow" can be practised at four fixed locations.
Freestylers also get their money's worth in this ski area, as the Corviglia Snowpark "Crowland" on the slope towards Marguns with rails, boxes, corners and a new funslope is considered one of the best fun parks in Europe.
Night skiing Corviglia
In some ski areas in Switzerland, you can also ski at night outside the daily operating hours of the lifts. The longest floodlit night ski piste in Switzerland is located near St. Moritz on Corvatsch. Every Friday, the 4.2 km piste in the night skiing area is open to the public for night skiing between 7 pm and 2 am. For refreshments during or after the night skiing fun, you can stop off at the Murtèl restaurant at the middle station. Tickets for night skiing or the so-called "Snow Night" can be purchased on site. If you want to have the piste all to yourself in the evening, you can book it privately for yourself or a group on all other evenings of the week (further information is available on site).Après ski Corviglia
Sports enthusiasts have plenty of options. Ice skaters can do their laps on the open-air artificial ice rink at the Ludains ice arena, sledging fans can choose between three routes or take a trip to the popular toboggan run from Preda to Bergün. A total of 150 km of well-maintained winter hiking trails invite you to take long walks through the snow-covered landscape - or go snowshoe hiking for a change. Water-lovers are drawn to the family pool in Zernez or the Bellavita adventure bath & spa in Pontresina, where you can also enjoy some wonderful relaxation.
With a bit of luck, you can also experience one of the numerous high-calibre events in St. Moritz. These range from ski races through the village to horse races on the frozen lake and polo tournaments.
Snowpark Corviglia: Corviglia Snowpark Crowland
St. Moritz has a lot to offer all ambitious winter sports enthusiasts. Do you love the best piste conditions and that tingling feeling in your stomach? Then you've come to the right place, because the Corviglia Snowpark "Crowland" is guaranteed to leave nothing to be desired!
A true freestyle paradise has been created right next to the Corviglia mountain station, on the slope towards Marguns, which, like the rest of the region, impresses above all with its class and variety. An easy line and a medium line, peppered with a total of 30 different obstacles, offer an optimal setup for beginners and advanced riders. Kickers with 5-10 metre tables, various boxes and rails, wall rides and rollers attract freestylers and are also a popular area for competitions for experts in the scene. There is also a half-pipe and a bag jump at the Murtèl middle station.
New to the snowpark is the "Funslope Beginner", a fun slope especially for beginners and children. Over 600 metres, the youngest freestylers can try out wave runs, small boxes and other fun elements. Crowland is therefore an experience for the whole family and all age groups.
